A very big well done to our recent competitors taking part at the recent Duckhurst sj show! Everybody tried their best and succeeded! Well done to Izzy H who rode one of our new ponies Tara very well and had an unfortunate 4 faults in her class, but still did well.  Also well done to Rosie who did very well and got a 6th and double clear on Steffie and a clear round and 4th on Tiny! Also a very big well done to Tasia who rode Anderida Betsy very well and got a double clear! Well done to Lyra for doing well in her classes on Anderida Benny! And also very big well done to Alice on Frodo, she is a young rider who has improved ever so much.Horse wise ,all our horses and ponies jumped very well .A special mention on Frodo, who despite collecting his old age and disability benefits, tried his heart out and jumped 2 lovely rounds.

Sadly, our homebred  young gelding Anderida Rendor (Little Renkum x Polydor) has lost his battle against his health problems he has been bravely fighting for more than a year now.At the end ,out trusted vet Duncan from Priors Farm vets decided nothing more could be done and Rendor is now aux paradis des chevaux. This was a massive blow to GC who had utterly devoted herself for more than a year now ,in nursing poor Rendor and giving him the best quality of life possible. In  my 30 years experience with horses, i have never seen such commitment and dedication towards a horse ,specially one that was fighting a loosing battle. All i can say about GC is that she is real gem,an absolut flawless gem.The AFRC horses are so lucky to have somebody like GC to keep an eye on them( and me too ).
