Anderida stud news

02 January 2018 19:38

News from the Anderida stud. 2017 was not a good year really. Anderida Queretta was a real star, did really well switching from pure sj to eventing and showed real potential in her first few shows. Sadly just before the South of England trials in September, her rider Anna Hanson got a very serious injury in her heel which has now ruled her out of riding for an unknown length of time. Well Q thought that since her rider was out of action for a while ,she should join in sympathy and promptly injured her leg. Luckily Q's injury is not that serious and she should be ready and fit in time for the start of the new eventing season in March. The question is who will ride Queretta?

Sadly, all my hopes and expectations with Askadora and Diablo did not materialize one bit. Both horses spent many months at the riders training yard but hardly went to any shows, didnt show any form whatsoever, and all i got  was a very expensive bill . And of course as pretty much all of these pro sj's, it was all down to the horses not being good enough. Never did he put his hand up to say, ' maybe i missed the stride or maybe i did this or that wrong '!Stuff him, so self centered, full of organic fertilizer. Both A and D are back home, very happy and enjoying this glorious balmy weather. Diablo is getting on very well with his new loan rider, a most wonderful lady who loves and looks after Diablo in the best possible way, Thank you so much Vanessa.

We will let you know soon again how Q, A and D get on.
