May 2011

All our foals are doing very well and we are expecting one more from Anderida Cambretta, she is due anytime now!5th May 2011 – Cambretta gave birth to a beautiful filly foal.  All is well and we are looking forward to any ideas for her name.September 2011 – Cambretta’s foal is doing great but is desperately waiting for her new name.  Any suggestions welcome, bearing in mind the name should include part of the father’s name (Quebracho) and part of the mother’s name (Cambretta). Both Polydora and Cambretta are now being ridden and slowly getting ready to go back to full work. What a great chance for our experienced riders only to ride these 2 fantastic schoolmasters. Anderida Cambretta   We would like to mention our oldest resident Poly who show jumped to a high level in her younger years and joined the other horses on hacks on the Ashdown Forest until recently as she has now been retired and is living happily with some of the youngsters in a large field at the riding centre.September 2011,although Poly has had a good summer and is still very alert and even grumpy at times as she used to be at her prime, her physical condition has severely deteriorated. At almost 30 yo ,this most beautifull horse,my last link to my days in Athens ,Greece,is now nearing the end of what i hope was a very happy life.It wont be fair for this wonderfull mare ,who gave so many people so many great memories,to go through another hard winter. The end of an era is now close.

July 2010

Fantastic news for Anderida Anica, she has been selected to repesent Norway with her rider, for the European Young Riders Championships.

February 2010

Sad news for British show jumping. Anderida Anica, second highest ranked British bred horse in 2009, sold to Norway. The sale of Anica symbolises the short sightedness of so called professional show jumpers in England and there lack of long term vision. A horse with her impeccable blood lines, lost for British Breeding. No wonder why British Show Jumping is in such a sorry and sad state.

Fortunately Anica’s bloodline’s will continue, thanks to her daughter Anderida Aniston (Lauriston X Animo X Campione) who’s ownership the stud retains.

Good Luck Anica, stay healthy and above all thank you for making a dream come true.

Great news from the new star – bred by the Stud, Anderida Polaris (Lars Irco G X Polydor X Gonzo)

In only a handful of outings has completed his double clears for newcomers and foxhunters. The future looks very bright for this fantastic horse. Produced so amazingly well by one of the most talented amateur lady rider Rachel Keevil, who also produced Anica to such a high standard.

October 2009
